Love your what if "(insert cartoon series) is anime" work; in fact, I'd be psych if one of these days you start working on your own series. I'd totally follow that. Provided the story board is well written.

Q: Can I post your artwork somewhere else?
A: With or without permission, you're free to post it under these three simple conditions:
1: No money involved. (Free in short)
2. A proper credit is displayed. ("By: Mike Inel" is fine)
3. You won't claim it's yours unless it's a collaboration between us. (I rarely do collabs)

Q: What if it's a commissioned artwork you made, am I free to repost it too?
A: Commissioned artworks belong to their respective clients/commissioners. Please ask for their permission instead.
A: However, if you're the client/commissioner of the artwork, feel free to do whatever you like.

Q: I made a fanart of your work. Should I credit you?
A: Not necessarily, but I encourage you to. It's also best to emphasize "fanart" there.

Q: I made something that was inspired by your work. Should I credit you?
A: No need.

Q: Can I cosplay one of your works?
A: Sure!! (Credits are optional)

Q: What program do you use for drawing? (and painting?)
A: Adobe Photoshop CS6 + Manga Studio 5

Q: What about animation?
A: Adobe Photoshop CS6 + Manga Studio 5 + Adobe AfterEffects CS6

Q: And 3D?
A: Autodesk 3dsmax 2013 + Adobe Photoshop CS6

Q: Lastly, programing language?
A: DarkBASIC Professional or Unity. I use Ren'Py too for visual novels.

Q: Do you use tablets?
A: Yes. Wacom Intuos 4 L

Q: Can I request an artwork from you?
A: I'm sorry, but I only do requests for close friends.

Q: Are you available for commissions?
A: Rarely.

Q: Have you ever considered making tutorials?
A: I'm not good at teaching. (Believe me, I tried.)

Q: What university did you attend to learn how to (insert art-related verb here)
A: None. Sad to say, I'm undergraduate right now.

Q: Where did you learn how to (insert art-related verb here)
A: Self-learning and free online tutorials.

Q: Any tips or tutorials?
A: Check my downloadable PSDs here:… Try observing a lot. A whole lot. Heck, trace some for learning purpose if you want. (Just trash it after you're done. People rage at traced artworks) You'll eventually see the tiny details you never noticed.

Q: What's your inspiration in creating art?
A: I want to see something I haven't seen, so I'll try making it instead.

Q: How long did you practice drawing to get to the level you're at now?
A: The longest time I can remember.

Q: Why aren't you replying to our posts?
A: I find it difficult to answer hundreds of posts. But believe it or not, I'm reading them all. In fact, I'm even excited to read them.

Q: Are you a Filipino?
A: Opo

It's been really busy for me for the past month.

After the success of "What if Gravity Falls was an anime", I made another one which was longer and more insane than the previous:

But I wasn't able to finish it without the huge support of my fans over on Patreon!
The huge surprise is that the creator of The Amazing World of Gumball, Ben Bocquelet, retweeted my fan animation!
And I'm so happy that it reached and featured on Cartoon Brew, a site I watch to check for news about cartoons and animations.
Not only that, the number of my Patrons doubled since the release of the animation!

Thank you everyone for your love and support!

After the rushing job with TAWOG anime, I wasn't able to take much break and had to help my sis mogumogumogu with finishing her manga/comic:
(The deadline was really small, which was the Komikon Baguio, a local comic convention event in our place.)

Now that the event is done, I'd like to share a private message that was given to me years ago:

"Just wanted to let you know I love your work. I'm also a combination 2d/3d guy who's bent on making films and whatever I can in whatever unique ways will allow me.
I've been meaning to message you just to say I hope you keep going with where your going."

It was November 9, 2009.
By Monty Oum.

If I remember correctly, I screamed like a fangirl when I got the message. I was a fan of his "Dead Fantasy" works during that time.
But I wasn't able to reply in time, so I lost the opportunity to have a chat with him.

And I'll never have that opportunity anymore.

Monty Oum, you're a huge inspiration to many people around the world. Even now, it still hurts me to discover your death at a young age of 33.
My condolence to his family and to everyone who loves him.

You will be greatly missed.

What struck me first was your Amazing World of Gumball stuff, somehow three times as cooler and funnier with your animation.

After watching the "Drawn with Me" animation... I scrolled
back up to make sure I had watched you.
You did a beautiful job. Not only that, but your art takes me to a place I haven't been for a while.

Thank you. Huggle!

Ok, I have to ask. Is the 'anime' style you use for your animations easy/ popular one to use? Or have you made animations that aren't on DA / your YouTube page?

The only reason I ask, is because I've seen other videos /drawings using similar character styles on various other sights and was wondering if you made them.

I love all your animations so much (especially the one with Ib, The Witch's House and Mad Father) and I was just wondering if you could do a short preview of To the Moon and Quintessence: The Blighted Venom, please? I know you don't take request from random people but I would really love it if you could ^_^

Hi Mike
I gonna say that I love what you did turning TAWOG and Gravity Fall into Anime.version? I was wondering if you ever seen Adventure Time, Steven Universe, WOY or even SVTFOE? If you seen thems shows, I would love to see them in your style as well? :)
Xeleny Featured By Owner Feb 22, 2015
