they live in different places, these could be villages, 'the eldest' would be the elders of each said village, these 2 villages don't enjoy their company much, so to prevent hate or war, they build the glass wall. This glass wall would have some kind of spell in it, to prevent trespassers, this is why it regenerates, and harms anything living.
As to how the chalk and the box got through, they aren't living things.
And if you look closely at 3:45 in the video; when the guy is walking left of the wall, you can see 2 figures in the horizon.
Could they still be talking after this? It's love that draws them together, they won't let the wall intervene, but if he keeps trying to get over the wall, he'll lose everything from his body.
I wish he would release this canceled game, that way we could read what the glass wall says
and inspect the 2 figures at the end of it
Maybe that would explain everything
maybe he did release it, and he's waiting for somebody to find it, along with the truth.
