A short game i made in 3 days using DarkBASIC Professional.
How to play: 0. Must be 'Windows XP' or up 1. Download it from here: [link] 2. Unzip it 3. Run "Where.exe" 4. If "Unable to locate component. This application has failed to start because d3dx9_35.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." appears, run "dxwebsetup.exe" with internet connection, then run "Where.exe" again
Small history: It was a small project that started in 2004, but never got finished. I remade it in 2005, but again, i didn't finished it.
Beware, it has noobie music...
Edit: OH SHI--- UPDATED
Edit2: I've changed some parts, hopefully to fix the issue about a certain bug...

Edit3: DA just removed "How" game for having a "prohibited content" because they don't allow .exe games... Eesh... I removed the "Download" here and linked it to Sendspace instead... Have fun...
... I've been wanting to play this game for over a year now. -_-... but it can't locate the component and even after running dxwebsetup.exe It still wont work T~T... the game looks beautiful though
It felt exactly like a journey, like one of those long bus trips in which you know you're going somewhere, but the fact and the details become blurred by the feeling of being in transit, with no obligations besides looking out the window as the world goes by. It's one of the feelings I love the most, and it's present very strongly in this game. It struck me especially hard when I found myself not wanting to get to the ending, the irony of which seemed to "justify" the previous feeling. The concept of the game itself is good, I like how you gave an artistic twist to the "layered" nature of the maze. The way it begins and ends were unexpected at first; on retrospect, such emotive, surprising details are like your signature, an integral part of your art. Also, you describe the music as "noobie". I'd describe it as calming, pretty, and unobtrusive. In fact, some of the melodies were so pretty that I found myself singing along, and they fit their environment perfectly.
In short, this is a little masterpiece. It's awe-inspiring that something can be so simple and abstract yet so full of pure emotion.
I have the dxwebsetup installed and have reinstalled the application about 5 or 6 times, it still tells me that MFC71.DLL is missing from my computer. It's not the same message you have in the information...but nothing works! (T-T)
I liked the music... ;3; It was pretty, and so were the graphics. Whooo flying squares~ XD No, really though But the balloon had to fly away 3: I want mah reward D( Jk, this was a really good game
By the way, your game series is really interesting too~ Idc if Who doesn't have a Draw with me reference, but if you ever get around to finishing it (or a DWM sequel XD) it would still be awesome 8'D You don't have to though, if you're busy or don't want to or something >3>;;
